Keyboard: The @ and " keys are swapped, there are £ and € signs coming up

I recently purchased a Raspberry Pi Kit including wireless keyboard and mouse. Order #10000864111 March 2018.

Problem:
The @ and " keys are swapped, there are £ and € signs coming up. The symbols and mapping is just not correct. Also the pipe | symbol is missing.

Can you help me reconfigure the keyboard please.

Hi Sigmund,

Raspberry Pi is a UK brand - so it’s only natural that they use the UK keyboard layout in Raspbian :slight_smile:

Can be easily changed. Take a look at the below link, you’ll see a section titled “1.3 FIRST POWER-UP & HAVING A LOOK-AROUND”. In that video, go to 1:46.
