Pi 5 no video output

Ive just upgraded from a Pi t to a Pi 5. Have the Argon ONE case with the NVMe expansion board.

Ive installed the current version of HA which works via the web interface, however during the boot process there is no console output..

Also tried a few of the distros, if I hold the space bar down as it boots I see the startup diag screens, then the displey goes blank. Tried the same process with a spare Pi 4 and it works as expected

That’s definitely odd behaviour.

A couple of quick questions:

  • May I ask what about PSU you are using?

  • When the Pi 5 is removed from the case, are you still receiving no HDMI output?

  • Could you try with a different SD card and let us know if you get the same results.

  1. using the official Raspbery Pi PSU 27W
  2. I can confirm I ger HDMI on the miniHDMI on the Pi5 board, not of the HDMI on the case, think that point to a problem on the interface board
