The diagram below from this datasheet asks for pull up resistors from clock to 3.3v and data to 3.3v.
This graph implies I’d enjoy a simple 1k resistor.
I’m wondering if this adapter already contains a pull up resistor or if I should add my own. (kinda doesn’t look like it but I thought I’d check before I break something).

Having a look at the schematics for his board there are no resistors on it.

What about the piicodev button does it have it’s own internal pullups?

I just found the schematic for the piicodev button.
It might be that you have already installed one for me in the button. I think that means I won’t need my own.
