The Raspberry Pi Foundation wanted to create a HAT which not only contained a plethora of sensors but an interactive LED display with user input. In fact, it’s so cool, that the Raspberry Pi Foundation is using it to perform scientific experiments onboard the International Space Station!
I can’t see any reason why it wouldn’t be, but it’s not currently stated on the site. I’ll put that on our list of checks that we have to do for the newer Pi’s and when someone from our team verifies it we will update the site. Have a great day!
I did some googling after asking and it does seem to be. I’ve ordered one off you anyway, so I’ll get back to you to confirm once I receive it to help you out.
If it doesn’t, just gives me an excuse to buy more stuff

Hi, Just having a look at the Pi Sense Hat and it mentions explicitly that it is not compatible with older RPI models, up to 4. But doesn’t mention if it is compatible with the new RPI 5
thanks
From what I can find the incompatibility with this product and the earlier versions of the Raspberry Pi is due to the changes made to the GPIO pin output between models.
While this HAT doesn’t seem to have been officially tested with a Pi 5 I would be fairly confident it would work the same. This is because the GPIO pins are the same between the Pi 5 and the Pi 4 which is confirmed to work with this product.
Hope this helps!
