(Setting Up a Wi-Fi Extender Using a Raspberry Pi | Engineering Education (EngEd) Program | Section)

This extender article is not clear if I could compatibly combine its configuration with an existing Rasp Pi 400 wireless setup or if it is meant only for a stand alone board.
Any views on this?

Hi Brenton,

From a quick scan through that guide it looks like they are using the Pi itself as a network extender, not necessarily to get higher range.
