Suggestions on how to display a flag as a wearable

Hi I want to display a flag as a wearable either on my shirt or on the front of a cap. With or without animation. The flag is the pride flag.
Any suggestions on what hardware to use that will run off a battery so I can take it on the go? I was thinking some kind of display it eink if they are in color.

Hey,

I think you could get a really good result using the Flora boards and sew a NeoPixel or led sequin grid onto the front of the shirt or cap.
