I’m looking at using the lilypad BLE as a HID device but my first trouble is that I can’t seem to be able to even load a simple blink program up to the device I’ll upload some pictures as well please tell me where i’m stupid.

Did you have another FTDI programmer handy that you could use to see if that is what’s causing the problem?
I did program my arduino Mega 2560 to act as a FTDI programmer.
is that the right hook up?
It looks like you’ve connected things correctly with the FTDI, do you have a battery that you can connect to the LilyPad without the FTDI connected?
yes but I think it’s uncharged so I’ll try charging it
