Any ideas for a wireless Relay? We have a door controller that sends a 12v signal to a door solenoid.
The door is in a location that we cannot run a cable (less that 50m away). What would be the best way to transmit this signal? Is there an off the shelf RF or ethernet based module available?

I think a 433MHz Simple RF link kit might be what you’re looking for. It should have enough range, and if not here’s a guide on gaining range.
Controlling these sensors can be done via a variety of boards (Arduino, Raspberry Pi) depending on what suits your project.
