Audio Streams using Waveshare SIM7600G-H 4G HAT

Hi. I have a Waveshare SIM7600G-H 4G HAT with a Raspberry Pi 4 B.

I am hoping to capture the raw audio streams during a voice call programmatically. I intend to run voice recognition on the audio in and play WAV files during the call.

Is this possible with the current setup? And if so, does anyone have any suggestions how to proceed.

Thank you.

Hi @David71435, Welcome to the Forums!!!

From what I can tell from the Product Wiki the audio from a phone call is only output from the HAT’s onboard 3.5mm Connector and not passed through to the Pi.

To get the audio into the Pi you will need some form of USB Audio Input that you can breakout the Audio jack from the HAT to connect to the Pi.

I hope this helps with your project.
