ENDER 3 Mainboard

Hi

is the Creality Ender 3 mainboard you sell a 32 bit board? Making it compatible with the CR-Touch leveling sensor.

Thanks John

Hi John,

Welcome to the forum :slightly_smiling_face:

I’ve just checked the shelf stock we have here and it looks like our stock uses the Creality V4.2.2 mainboard which has an open port labeled BL_T so I suspect it will be compatible with the BL Touch and CR Touch bed leveling sensors, but I’ll need to do a bit of research to confirm if the mainboard is 8bit or 32bit.

I’ve found an article here which covers the main differences between the V1, V4.2.2, and V4.2.7 boards.
To summarise it seems that any V4 board will have the extra port for the bed leveling sensor and be able to upgrade the firmware via the SD card.
The primary difference between the V4.2.2 and V4.2.7 are the stepper motor drivers used, though both drivers are considered to be “silent class” drivers.
