Read moreHello, I am considering purchasing your JST 2-pin cable SKU: ADA261 Brand: Adafruit to add power to my supersonic technologies RPi 5 PIP-NVMe Shield X1001 V1.1 expansion board. It is attached to a RPi 5. Would this item work to add an additional 5 volts of power to the PCIe NVMe M.2 adapter board? If not could you please recommend a proper molex connector or even better a plug and power supply option?
Thank you for your assistance.

Hi Chris,
What an odd HAT, most SSD HATs I’ve seen will receive power from the PCIE port.
Assuming this is the HAT that you have, it appears that the JST XH connector is an optional power supply. You will be after an XH series connector if this is your board and you want to externally power it.
