Pi Zero W connecting USB Flash Drive

I am wanting to connect a USB flash drive to a Pi Zero W.

I really do not want to use the standard OTG port as the adaptor and the drive will be sticking out of the case and likely to get damaged.

Does the Pi Zero USB Stem - SKU: KIT-14526 also allow for connection of a flashdrive if Pi Zero is connected to the normal power supply ?

Hi Barry,

I don’t think it works that way - I envision doing that would be similar to two USB ports connected in parallel, which never ends well!

I could be wrong.
