Is there a version of this usb hub that 8s compatable with the pi zero 2 w ?

Hi Adam,

This will work with the Pi Zero 2 W. The pads on the bottom are slightly different but not enough to make an impact. Here’s an image I found showing this for this USB Hub

It should also be noted that the WiFi radiation on the Zero 2 W is more likely to interfere with your USB devices than the Zero W. The solution I’ve seen for this is to cut out the shape of the board with an ESD bag (This ships in one) to act as a shield.

Thanks, i was a little concerned as the page says incompatible with a pi zero 2, is it possible to solder or use the upstream micro b port to connect to the board over a longer distance, im planning to use it in a UAV so space is limited.

A setup like this with the Pi Zero should work just fine.

Soldering to the test pads on the Pi may be a bit tricky but that can also be done. USB communication has some strict requirements to work so it may take a bit of time to get working.

Wonderful, a microusb cable will work perfectly. Do you have the board you linked available at core ?

Hi Adam,

We have a couple currently in stock.
