Problem with setting up Einscan-SE for first time

Hi,

I’ve just purchased the Einscan-SE 3d scanner from Core Electronics and am having trouble setting it up for the first time. The scanner keeps disconnecting from my computer and I receive the error message 'Warning the device is offline. This can occur midway through the initial calibration or even before it has calibrated. I’m working on an apple computer and have partitioned the hard drive and installed windows 10, could this be causing a problem?

Hi Mardi,

I imagine that there’s definitely a chance, what Apple computer did you have and were you running Windows through a Virtual Machine or standalone?

The easiest way to confirm would be to use a Windows computer and follow through the set up manual as usual, if you run into any issues let us know!
