I seem to have issues with my RPi picking up False readings/EM Interference from maybe the power supplies nearby, It comes on and off when i use single Jumper leads, is there a shielded ribbon cable i can interface with a custom PCB or would a regular ribbon cable do the job?

Hey Izza,

Welcome to the forum! Sorry to hear you’re running into some issues, just to confirm, what are you attempting to do on the Pi when you’re getting this interference? e.g. sensor readings, button inputs, etc.

I haven’t seen a case of Pi power supplies causing interference, but we might be able to isolate the issue with a bit more detail!

Regarding the shielded jumper/ribbon cables, I don’t think we’re going to have much of an option I’m afraid. I’d suggest taking a look at this page though, it details the impacts of EMI noise and how to reduce it.
