Trying to configure 8bitdo controllers on retropie
It does recognise my game pass and I am now stuck on the Welcome - no gamepads detected …
I have tried rebooting but returns to this screen … I have had no end of trouble trying to set up controllers and yet revived very little assistance so would be great for some help
I can get back to command and re boot - but same screen comes up … any ideas ? Anyone ??
Hi Jane,
Are you using Bluetooth or USB to connect your gamepads?
I’d say using USB would be the go just to confirm they are working properly, as Bluetooth adds another layer of complexity.
Also I’d make sure you’re using Xinput mode (X + start when turning the controller on)
