Hi there,
Interested in the 4.3 lcd ips display you guys have to use as a dash display for my sim rig. Just wanting to know if I’m able to power and show the image on the display via the USB cable only without having to use the hdmi output.

Taking a look at the user manual it looks like the USB is only used for the touch sensor of the screen: https://www.waveshare.com/w/upload/0/08/4.3inch_HDMI_LCD_B_User_Manual_EN.pdf

You could use a USB to HDMI adapter to get video to the display Comsol USB 3.0 to HDMI and VGA Adapter | Officeworks

Not too sure how you power it, the core guys should be able to help tho.
